One easy way make sure what we buy is ethical and good is to shop Fair Trade. That’s it! Start with Fair Trade. If Fair Trade doesn’t have what we need, then we can look on to local artisans and farmers. If they fall short too and if we must have whatever it is we are shopping for then I think we give ourselves grace and go to conventional stores to get what we need. That’s conscientious consumerism in my book, friends.
